Incall Apartments in Athens

Incall Apartments in Athens: Private, Discreet Locations

An incall booking reverses the usual arrangement: instead of a companion travelling to your hotel or home, you travel to a private apartment kept for exactly this purpose. For a large number of guests in Athens it is the preferred option, and the reasons are practical rather than romantic — no hotel lobby, no building neighbours, no explaining anything to anybody.

This page sets out how incall works in Athens: what the apartments are, which parts of the city they are in, when and how you receive the address, and what to expect on arrival.

What an incall apartment is

The private-apartment model

An incall apartment is a private residence used for appointments and nothing else. It is not a hotel room booked for the afternoon and it is not somebody’s home. It is furnished, cleaned between appointments, and equipped with the things a guest actually needs — a bathroom with fresh towels, somewhere to hang a coat, air conditioning, and a door that closes on a quiet corridor.

Why guests prefer incall

Three reasons come up again and again. Guests who live in Athens do not want a visitor at their own address. Guests staying with family, colleagues or partners cannot receive anyone at all. And guests in hotels with unusually strict visitor policies find incall simply easier than negotiating with a front desk. There is also a fourth, quieter reason: some people would rather be the one who arrives and leaves.

How it differs from outcall

Outcall means the companion travels; incall means you do. Outcall is generally better for visitors already settled in a hotel, and incall is generally better for residents and for anyone whose own address is not an option. Neither is more discreet than the other in absolute terms — they are discreet in different directions. Our outcall page covers the alternative in full.

Incall areas across Athens

Central Athens

Most of our incall locations are in and around the central districts, within a short taxi ride or a metro stop or two of Syntagma. Central apartments are the easiest to reach at any hour, are close to the transport network, and are in buildings with enough ordinary foot traffic that no arrival stands out. If you are staying anywhere near Syntagma or Kolonaki, a central incall is a five to ten minute journey.

The southern suburbs

Towards the coast — the Alimos, Glyfada and Voula side. These suit guests already on the Athens Riviera who would rather not wait for someone to travel out from the city, and residents of the southern suburbs generally. Parking is markedly easier here than in the centre.

The northern suburbs

Towards Marousi, Chalandri and the Kifisias corridor, serving the northern business belt and the residential suburbs around it. Well connected by metro line 3. See Marousi and Chalandri.

Arriving at an incall booking

When you receive the address

The exact address is given once the booking is confirmed, and shortly before the appointment rather than days ahead. This is deliberate and it is standard practice everywhere: addresses that circulate widely stop being private. You will receive the street, the building number, the floor and the buzzer or door instruction — everything you need to walk in without stopping to ask anyone.

Parking and metro access

Central incall apartments are chosen for their proximity to metro stations rather than for parking, because parking in central Athens is difficult in a way visitors consistently underestimate. If you intend to drive, say so when you book and we will tell you where the nearest paid garage is, or suggest a suburban location where parking is genuinely easy. In the southern and northern suburbs, street parking is usually available.

Building discretion

Arrive at the time agreed, go straight in, and use the buzzer instruction you were given rather than calling from the street. Athens apartment buildings are busy and nobody pays attention to a visitor who behaves like they know where they are going. The only arrivals that attract notice are hesitant ones.

What the apartment provides

The space itself

A private, clean, comfortably furnished apartment with a proper bathroom, air conditioning and heating, and no other guests. Apartments are prepared before each appointment and are not shared during it.

Facilities and refreshments

Fresh towels, a shower, and water and refreshments are standard. If you want anything specific, ask when you book rather than on arrival — it is usually easy to arrange with a little notice and impossible with none.

Rates and duration

Standard durations

Incall bookings run from one hour upwards, with two hours and full evenings also available. Because there is no travel involved for the companion, incall carries no travel supplement, which makes short bookings better value than their outcall equivalents. Our rates and payment guide sets out how pricing works across durations.

Payment on arrival

Payment is made at the start of the appointment, discreetly and without discussion, as it is with any booking. Nothing is renegotiated once the appointment has begun.

Choosing an incall location

Match it to where you already are

The most common mistake is choosing a location on some notion of quality rather than on geography. All of our incall apartments are held to the same standard; what differs is where they are. Pick the one that is a short journey from where you already are, and the whole evening becomes easier.

If you are travelling by metro

Central locations are chosen with metro proximity in mind, and lines 2 and 3 cross at Syntagma, which puts a great deal of the city within a short ride. The metro runs until shortly after midnight, with extended weekend hours. If your booking is later than that, plan on a taxi.

If you are driving

Say so when you book. Central Athens parking is genuinely difficult — narrow permit-controlled streets and garages that fill in the evening — whereas the southern and northern suburban locations generally have straightforward street parking. This single piece of information can change which location we suggest.

What an incall booking is and is not

It is a private appointment in a private space

The apartment is used for appointments and nothing else. It is prepared before each booking, it is not shared during yours, and there is no one else present. It is not a hotel room hired by the hour and it is not somebody’s home — both questions come up and both answers are no.

It is not a walk-in

Incall appointments are booked and scheduled, with an agreed start time. There is no arriving unannounced, no waiting on the premises, and no turning up early. Appointments are spaced so the apartment can be prepared properly between them, which is the reason punctuality matters more here than it does for an outcall.

It is not less discreet than outcall

People occasionally assume travelling to an address is somehow more exposed than receiving someone. In practice the opposite is often true: nobody at your hotel, your building or your home is involved at all. The discretion simply points in a different direction. Our discretion page covers both.

Where it fits against outcall

Broadly: visitors settled in a hotel usually prefer outcall; Athens residents and anyone whose own address is not an option usually prefer incall. Neither is better in the abstract. Our booking guide works through the decision in order.

Common questions

When do I receive the exact address?

Once your booking is confirmed, and generally shortly before the appointment time rather than well in advance. You will get the street and number, the floor, and the buzzer or entry instruction, which is everything required to arrive without asking anybody anything.

Is the apartment private and exclusive?

Yes. During your appointment the apartment is yours and there are no other guests in it. It is prepared before each booking and it is not somebody’s home, which is a question guests sometimes ask and are relieved to have answered.

Is parking available nearby?

It depends on the location. Central Athens parking is genuinely difficult and we would suggest a taxi or the metro. In the southern and northern suburbs, street parking is usually straightforward. If you are driving, tell us at the point of booking and we will point you to the right location or the nearest garage.

How early should I arrive?

On time, not early. Appointments are scheduled with a little space between them for the apartment to be prepared, and arriving significantly early means standing on a street, which serves nobody. If you find yourself early, have a coffee nearby; central Athens is not short of options.

Can I book an incall apartment late at night?

Yes, late bookings are available, though availability narrows after midnight and the metro stops running, so factor a taxi into your plans. If you know in advance that you will want a late appointment, book it earlier in the day. Our late night page covers after-hours bookings.

Is incall cheaper than outcall?

Generally, yes, because there is no travel supplement. The difference is most noticeable on shorter bookings and on bookings that would otherwise be to an outlying area. See our rates and payment guide for how the two compare across durations.
