Uniforms, costumes and themed evenings in Athens
If you want your companion to arrive in a particular outfit, the answer is usually yes. The only thing that makes it work is telling us early. Uniform and costume requests are among the most common themed bookings we handle in Athens, and they are also the ones most often ruined by being mentioned at the door instead of at the booking.
The reason is prosaic. An outfit has to be owned or bought, it has to fit, and it has to be carried discreetly across a city where nobody wants to be seen in costume in a hotel lobby. None of that happens in twenty minutes. Raise it when you first contact us and it is simple; raise it on the night and it is usually not possible.
Why the uniform works at all
Costume is a shortcut to a role, and a role is a shortcut to permission. That is the whole psychology of it. An outfit tells both people what character they are playing tonight, which lets an evening start somewhere other than two adults sitting on a hotel bed making conversation. It changes the posture, the voice, the way someone walks into a room.
It also gives structure to people who find open-ended encounters awkward. A scenario with a shape works better for many clients than an evening with no script at all. An arrival, a pretext, a bit of theatre at the door.
What is commonly asked for
These are adult professional and fantasy archetypes, and every one of them is a costume worn by a consenting adult.
- Office and business wear. The tailored, corporate look. Requested more often than everything else on this list put together, and the easiest to arrange, because most companions already own the pieces.
- Cabin crew. A favourite among frequent flyers, for reasons nobody has ever had to explain to us.
- Medical whites. The classic. Buy a decent one. The cheap versions look like party shop plastic and break the illusion the second she takes her coat off.
- Maid and hotel service wear. Works best in a hotel room, which is where most Athens outcalls happen anyway.
- Latex, leather and fetish wear. A separate category with its own requirements, and the one where the companion’s own preferences count for most. Ask specifically.
- Evening wear as costume. Underrated. A named dress, particular heels, lingerie chosen before she leaves. Often it lands better than a full costume, and it is far easier to arrange.
Buying it in Athens
Athens has a small adult retail trade, and it works. The oldest cluster sits in the streets around Omonia and off Athinas, towards the central market. Unglamorous shops, long established, stocked mostly with the basics. Newer, better-presented shops have opened in the southern suburbs around Glyfada and along the coastal strip, and these tend to carry better quality costume pieces and lingerie. Most now also sell online and will deliver to a hotel in central Athens within a day or two, which is often the more discreet route.
A practical note on sizing: continental sizes here run small relative to UK and US equivalents, and costume sizing runs smaller still. If you are buying an outfit as a gift or a surprise, ask us for a size before you buy rather than guessing. We would rather answer that question than have you spend money on something unwearable.
How to set it up
Contact us with the date and say plainly what you have in mind, in the words you would use to a friend rather than the ones you think a booking office wants to hear. There is nothing here a coordinator has not heard before, and the specific detail is what makes the difference. Colour, style, heels or not, hair up or down. Vague requests produce vague results.
Then let us match. Not every companion offers themed bookings and not every one owns the item you are picturing. Some have a considerable wardrobe of their own; others will happily wear something you provide. Both work, but they need different lead times.
Practicalities on the night
Your companion will normally arrive dressed normally and change on site. This is not reluctance; it is basic discretion in a hotel corridor. Give her five minutes and a bathroom. If the outfit is one you are supplying, have it in the room, on a hanger, not still in a shop bag.
Boundaries around themed play
Costume changes the atmosphere, not the agreement. Everything discussed at booking still applies, everything not discussed at booking is still a no, and the companion decides what she is comfortable wearing and doing. That decision is hers alone. It is respected without argument. Every arrangement involves consenting adults only, and any scenario suggesting otherwise is refused outright.
