Escort safety tips for Greece that are actually useful come down to about a dozen habits, most of which cost nothing and take seconds. Before you call
Check the photographs. Reverse image search takes thirty seconds. Stolen images almost always appear elsewhere under a different name, and this single check prevents the most common bad outcome in this market.
Look at whether the gallery changes. A roster identical to two years ago is not a roster. Honest listings shrink when people are away.
Check whether rates are published. A published figure means somebody is committing to a number. “Call for prices” across an entire site is a negotiation being set up.

Never pay in advance
The most important line on this page, and worth stating alone.
No established agency in Greece takes a deposit. Not for a busy weekend, not for high season on an island, not for a rare request, not from a first-time client. The framing rotates and the request is always the same.
The methods rotate too — bank transfer, Revolut, PayPal friends-and-family, gift card codes, crypto. So does the excuse. None of it changes the answer.
A variation worth knowing: being asked to photograph a bank card or send a screenshot “as proof” is the same scam in different clothes. Send nothing.
What a very low price means
The genuine floor of the Athens market is around €120 an hour. A companion’s hour costs her preparation, travel across a slow city, and the hour itself — frequently two and a half hours of her day.
Below that figure the arithmetic stops working for anybody doing this legitimately and by choice. A listing at €50 or €70 is not somebody charging less; it is a photograph swap, a price that grows on arrival, nobody coming, or occasionally something worse.
Treat a price far below the market as information rather than an opportunity. It is the most reliable single warning available.
Your own safety at the booking
Give a real room number or address. Somebody who will not is asking her to travel blind, and reasonable people give an address.
Answer your phone for the last ten minutes. One habit that removes most of the friction from most bookings.
Have the cash counted and ready. Handing it over at the start is standard and is the least awkward moment for it.
Do not drink heavily beforehand. It is the most common reason an evening goes badly, in every category.
If somebody other than the person in the photographs arrives, you owe nothing. Say so plainly and close the door. It is uncomfortable for four seconds and much better than the alternative.
Her safety, which is also yours
Worth understanding rather than resenting, because the practices that protect a companion are what make a booking go smoothly.
Expect some screening. A companion or an office may want to confirm who you are, may prefer a hotel to a private address, may want a phone call rather than only text. None of that is suspicion of you personally — it is ordinary practice, and pushing back on it is the fastest way to end a conversation.
Companions working through an office tell it where they are going, and somebody answers the phone the whole time they are out. That is the actual reason experienced companions prefer agency work, and it protects you too: an operation with that structure is not the kind that vanishes mid-booking.
Boundaries belong to the companion, in the moment, whatever was agreed beforehand. Treat a boundary as final the first time it is stated. Asking is fine; pushing after an answer is not, and it ends the booking.
Protection

Anything involving a person under the age of consent or anybody not there voluntarily is illegal without exception, and it is the one situation where walking away quietly is not enough.
Discretion, practically
Ask what an operation records. The correct answer is nothing: no client database, no booking history, no note of who met whom.
Because payment is cash there is no card transaction, so there is no statement line and no processor holding a record either. That is a deliberate feature of how this market works rather than an accident.
Do not send photographs of yourself unprompted, and do not put personal details into messages that do not need them. A booking needs a location and a time, not a life story.
Reviews and forums
Weak evidence in both directions, and worth knowing why.
Review sites and forums in this market are substantially gamed: positive entries written by the businesses themselves, negative ones written about competitors, whole forums existing mainly to sell placement. Some are genuine and there is no reliable way to tell from outside.

If something has already gone wrong
If you sent a bank transfer, contact your bank immediately — recent transfers can occasionally be recalled and the window is hours rather than days. Card payments can sometimes be disputed. Gift card codes and crypto are effectively unrecoverable.
